The needs are simple A/R and A/P with no payroll and basically just needs to last until the end of the year. I am just trying to make sure that I can maintain functionality and not lose any data before this PC fails. Due to previous evacuations and closures, that CD can not be found. I can see the license number and product number from the current install on screen but do not have the install CD that probably shows a different code number. I think I have an appropriate installer file but when I try to install it, it says the code is not valid. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it and all efforts to transfer have not seemed to work. It is for a small family business that has gone out of business due to the COVID shutdown. I am trying to migrate my QuickBook 2014 from an aging PC to a new one (both running Windows 10) but am having difficulties.
